In 2015, Zach fell in love with the world of Jet Dragster racing. He developed a passion very early on in life for racing and an interest in the Aerospace industry during a middle school project. Originally from Romeoville, IL, Zach followed his interests all the way to Florida where he obtained his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering at Florida Tech in 2016. While attending Florida Tech, Florida Tech announced their partnership with Larsen Motorsports and unveiled the first Florida Tech Jet Dragster. Zach was excited with what Larsen Motorsports what doing with students and quickly became an intern at the shop which later grew into becoming a crew chief with the race team. In 2021, Zach took another step in his career and obtained his Jet Dragster competition license and made his debut at Cleetus and Cars Indy in April 2021. He has raced in several events since including the Last Lap at Palm Beach International Raceway in April 2022. Zach looks forward to a big year in 2023 as he supersedes his mentor Elaine Larsen as the driver of the Florida Tech Jet Dragster!
